This is Insert Tail Assembly for iPhone 3G. Though more costly than replacing one damaged component in the dock connector assembly, replacement of the entire iPhone 3G dock assembly is a much simpler task and eliminates the need for any soldering. The assembly comes with the dock connector, loudspeaker, antenna flex, and transmitter microphone.
